Hi! I’m Sagarika (or you can call me Rika), and I’m a student of the social sciences majoring in Sociology and double minoring in Politics and Social Data Science. I’m also the serving External Vice-President of the UNICEF Club at HKU. As you can guess from my fields of study, my fascination with interdisciplinary learning is what draws me to the ethos of the Common Core curriculum.

So far, CC courses have helped me gain a grounded, comprehensive perspective on diverse topics like religious history, behavioral economics, and feminist theory. I’m excited to help shape the future of the Common Core curriculum while guiding my peers toward courses that will strengthen their commitment to their majors while introducing them to new areas of interest.
