Higher student expectations of universities and competition from non-traditional educational providers place pressure on teachers to design and facilitate unique and authentic learning experiences.

This standalone seminar introduces how the frameworks and tenets of improvisation and design thinking can empower teachers to engage students at a deeper and more expansive level of inquiry, connect across disciplinary domains of knowledge, adopt a mindset for experimenting and prototyping, and encourage equitable participation in the classroom.

The standalone seminar is a prelude to four face-to-face experiential workshops held every Wed morning (9am – 12pm) from 26 Oct to 16 Nov.

Open to all HKU teachers and tutors.
