Hey there! I’m Alan, a fourth-year student pursuing my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. I’m stoked to share that I also received an intercalated Master’s degree in Demography and Health from the awesome London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). During my journey, I had the privilege of being part of the Medical Students Paediatric Association (MSPA) as an Executive Committee member, and I even worked as a research assistant at the Department of Family Medicine. My research focus revolves around population health, with a keen interest in social determinants of health and health justice. With my medical and public health background, I’m super pumped to bring some valuable insights to the Common Core. Let’s make a difference together!
