HKU’s iGEM Team consists of a group of undergraduate students who will undergo research during the summer to execute the project they design. The final project will be presented in The International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition, a prestigious international competition where students from different parts of the world develop and present their own Synthetic Biology projects at the annual jamboree. Over the past decade, HKU iGEM team has proudly received 3 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.
