Tutors often struggle with ways to encourage student participation in tutorial classes. Sometimes the challenge is getting everyone to stay motivated and engaged. On top of that, how can tutors guide students in the development of communication skills?

Join us for this hands-on and experiential workshop that guides tutors through a range of digital technologies available to enhance the teaching and learning within your Common Core courses. The workshop will explore how to use Moodle, Flipgrid, Mentimeter, and Miro to foster safe spaces for equitable and distributed student participation, and for brainstorming and ideation, ongoing feedback, peer reviews, and designing digital assessments.

You will walk away with a repertoire of tools to improve student satisfaction, improve communication competencies, and help uplift the overall learning experience.
